Bookkeeping Key Dates – With Downloadable iCal
Many startups, contractors and small businesses start off by wearing many different hats, it’s easy to miss key dates for lodging your liability forms (if you don’t have a bookkeeper to do it for you). Missing key dates can have catastrophic financial repercussions, to make life easier I have listed the current activity statement lodgement dates for the current accounting period here.
Here are the key dates for BAS, IAS and the Superannuation Guarantee for the following accounting period:
April 1st to June 30st 2012
- 21st April – Monthly Activity Statement for March 2012.
- 28th April – Quarterly Activity Statement, Quarter 3 (1 January – 31 March) - all lodgement methods.
- 28th April – Quarterly PAYG Instalment, Quarter 3 (1 January – 31 March)
- 28th April – Final day for Superannuation Guarantee Contributions to be made for Q3 (1 January – 31 March).
- 21st May – Monthly Activity Statement for April 2012.
- 21st June – Monthly Activity Statement for May 2012
- 30th June – END OF FINANCIAL YEAR!
